Nose Reshaping

Nose Reshaping

Noses are such a prominent facial feature and if you don’t like yours it can really affect your confidence and self-esteem. Also known as a nose job, rhinoplasty can alter the size, shape and angle of your nose so that it suits the rest of your face. This is a good option for people who think that their nose is too big, too small, or who may have nose bumps or indentations they want removed. Some may need surgery for a deviated septum, which is a condition where the nasal septum (the cartilage in the centre of the nose) is a little off centre. This procedure is called a septoplasty. Either way, our surgeons will perform your nose job, making tiny incisions in the interior of the nose so that you can’t see them in order to access the bones and cartilage.

Depending on the outcome that you want, some bone or cartilage might be removed, or tissue from another part of the body or synthetic filler might be added to the nose. Once your surgeon has restructured the bone and cartilage, the skin and tissue is rearranged over the nose and a splint is placed on the exterior to help support the new shape as it heals.
